Training & Equipping
212 Degrees has spent several years seeking to make an impact on the world for Christ. We have trekked into remote areas of developing countries where traditional missionaries don’t often go, and have been sharing the love of Christ with the people who call these places home. The results have been tremendous. We are beginning to see long term impacts with our short term teams as we intentionally pour into the same communities several times a year, with local churches and ministry partners who follow up with discipleship and training.
The result of the ministry that we have been a part of, is an increased need for the ongoing training of new pastors and church lay staff. We have been a part of seeing churches started in the remote mountain villages of the Annapurna region of Nepal and with that the need to train the new pastors and elders in the church. We are doing this through the local church in Kathmandu and Grace Bible School. We are training 20-30 leaders through a 4 month intensive training course offered two times per year. These training courses are led by Pastor Raj Kumar and a plethora of local pastors who pour into these indigenous pastors and lay staff. We are now taking teams to offer additional training in leadership, shepherding, evangelism, and biblical training, as we seek to strengthen and encourage the local churches in the remote areas of Nepal.
